I had thought I could explain "the sign of Jonah"...in about 4-5 sentences. I noticed the book was over 300 pages, so out of curiosity, ordered it. Wow, this book is excellent, an in depth study that illustrates example after example, how God's Word integrates and weaves the theme of Jonah in all of scripture , Old and New Testaments. And the theme of Jonah is much more than I would have been able to communicate without reading this book. It is a real treasure. I have ordered the Cathcart's tomes on Shadows of Messiah in the Torah as well and look forward to a study of it.

So sad that modern Christianity has dismissed the Old Testament and considered it irrelevant. The Authors have done a spectacular job of insightfully revealing the Gospel message that is so eloquently imaged in all of the Bible text from the creation in Genesis to the sign of Jonah. So many times we gloss over the details and miss all these stunning connections that give us confirmation, vision, and application to understanding His Wonders, Words, and Ways. Will be reading more from these authors!!

I have seen enough of the courts of La Crosse.

The enemy possesses the gates here where judgment is handed down.

I have seen no justice or truth there.

I tried to put them beneath me feet, so to speak, but I have failed.

I'm calling in an air strike and getting out of town.

That is to say, I'm invoking the Sign of Jonah.

La Crosse will be destroyed, like Sodom, by fire from heaven at the next blood moon on October 8, 2014, unless it repents in sack cloth and ashes, like Nineveh.

In any case, I won't help the city. It is none of my business anymore.

Unlike Jonah, I won't be waiting outside the city to see what happens to it.

I will leave and look not back.

I got my sign that it's on.
