Um. . . .HOLY MOLEY!!!!! This book is a ride I will never forget and I want to ride it over and over again and then keep that emotion locked up for just the right moments in my life. I suggest you read every single one of Poppet's books and get lost in her world as many times as you can. I looked forward to Ryan's release and was not disappointed. Ryan had me smiling from page 1 and then boom! I'm taking that emotional roller coaster. The Neuri series has captured me and I can not wait for Poppets next move ;)

Wow. No words can describe the emotions felt reading this story. Poppet does and incredible job bringing you in emotionally with Ryan and Pheobe. You will laugh, cry, and chew your own lip until you taste blood. This was the first story I have read that I dropped to my knees and cried reading. The battle of the heart in Ryan makes you feel that yours has been bound in chains and the vice always tightening. Pheobe's light never dulled, and Ryan never lost faith. Regardless of the trials they were both being put through. That is the true test of love. And both passed with flying colors. An absolutely beautiful story. 5 stars all the way for Ryan!

If you like your paranormal stories with a bit more, then take a look at Ryan. Ryan is paranormal but also contains mystery, different paranormal politics, and plenty of romance. Phoebe, who started the journey in Seithe, with Seithe, is bereft after her beloved husband's death. She has been taken by Ryan, the Neuri King, to his stunning property in Italy, to heal after Seithe's death. There is much sorrow, Phoebe is not sure she wants to continue living without Seithe. Ryan stays back, leaves her alone but still attempts to support her in every posible way during her grief. Love has been a long time coming to Ryan and he is not sure how to handle Phoebe, who is a woman with attitude. Because Phoebe is a precious slakax Ryan knows she has to live. Because he's grown to love her he knows she needs to live, for him, for the slakax and for the future.

There are some beautifully romantic moments in this book, Ryan and Phoebe grow to love one another, there are some brutally intense moments as well, there is a psychopathic vampyre stalking Phoebe. If you enjoy paranormal writing and you haven't tried this series I recommend it very highly. You do need to start at the beginning to gain maximum enjoyment as they feed one another with characters and events. The Pravus series - 1) Seithe 2) Venix 3) Zauran, then the Neuri series 1)Sveta then, this book, Ryan.

Once again, the writing is interesting and different. It is stunningly visual with clear, crisp pictures painted by Poppet's words. You run the full gammut of emotions - from moments of hope, to fear, to joy, and everything in between. Great reading.

Ryan is the second book in the Neuri series, a spinoff of the Pravus series.
How can you sum up a book that challenges your ability to breathe while you read ? I will try to share my feelings about this as simply as I can for the range of emotions that I felt were intense! I'm sure as you should know by now that Poppet is by far my favorite author. The way she describes her characters and scenes places you with them as a voyeur or proverbial 'fly on the wall'. She does no different in this title. You have a King, but not your every day average king. He's the Neuri King and has taken care of Phoebe after her husband has died. The inner turmoil of our hero is heart wrenching to say the least. With a love that will go beyond her heart and directly to her soul, if only he can get her to see the path to letting go will save them both. They will both figure out their worth and how to overcome the obstacles of the craziness that is their lives. Some times you have to die a little to be reborn and Phoebe and Ryan are no exception when it comes to this rule. You get a look into other sides of known characters from the series, as well as more info on the whole picture. This book has all it's bases covered. It's a love story, a action packed thriller and a comedy all rolled into one. You can not lose with this one. Poppet has her work cut out for her with writing the next book in the series but if I know her she will top herself as always. This book in a nutshell is just like your birthday, Christmas morning, the 4th of July, and Disney World all in one!

Ryan is the second book in the Neuri series, a spin off of The Pravus series. Ryan is the king of the Neuri's and the heart of a nation. Does he have enough love and light to save a grieving woman? Will Pheobe pass the tests that destiny deals to her?

Pheobe loses her entire world is the span of a single gun shot. Her world her love and her enitire heart go up in a black cloud of smoke. She is empty and hollow. She has no will to live. She doesn't eat. She doesn't sleep. She just is.

Ryan is the heart of a nation but, he can't find a way to make her want to live again. Everything she was was ripped away from her and her grief is all encompassing.Ryan is a solitary man and has no ideas on how to bring her out of her grief.

Making a deal with a demon her brings her the one thing she needs for closure trying to give her a will to live again.

Pheobe starts to come around slowly but surely she is begining to feel and love again.

She is kidnapped and taken away ripping the very heart of the neuri nation into shreds. The deal he made to save her once comes back to keep him from saving her now.

Is Pheobe strong enough to with stand the tortures of a demented kidnapper? Will the love a king be enough to bring her back from oblivion?
These are questions you will have to find the answers yourself.

This book brought me to tears of loss and desperation. It made me laugh and rejoice. It was an emotional rollar coaster ride. I loved every minute of it. You will not be disappointed.

Poppet has written an exceptionally vivid story. Weaving emotions of loss love and desperation into a perfect love story. You will feel and experience what they feel. Sitting on the edge of your chair waiting to see what happens next.

This is by far my favorite of the Neuri series yet and I loved Sveta.. but Ryan OMG. You dont want to miss this installment.
