I would not recommend this product because it certainly does not work as advertized. 1st attempt left my face very raw. Second attempt I started on a 4 day stubble and applied it to only half my face and repeated this for the next two weeks only on one side. I didn't tell my wife which side I sanded and in this blind test she could never tell the difference. Reluctant to throw in the towel, i kept using every 2 to 3 days for a third week. When i still couldnt detect any difference I plucked about 5 hairs from each side of my face and looked at them under a stereoscope at 80X magnification and could see no discernible difference. I have sanded very hard. It does not work for me and I suspect does not for most men.

Go to a hardware store and try out the various sanding materials on your face. They offer a wide variety of grit. If you find the correct level of grit for your unique stubble you are an idiot. If you feel dumb, you grew as a person and probably will not spend $15 on face sand paper. 5 stars for a cheap life lesson that comes with a free pedicure kit. My toenails are insanely smooth.

My husband was thrilled with this -- before he even used it. Just the idea that such a thing exists. It' not a miracle-worker, but it definitely does make the ends of his moustache hairs less prickly.

Absolutely one of the worst products I've ever bought off Amazon. I tried this three times with varied lengths of facial hair. There was no difference at any length. The only thing this sandpaper did was make my face raw. I would never recommend this to anyone.

I read about it in Men's Journal and Esquire and was SO looking forward to this as my better half keeps complaining that my stubble is hard on her skin. When we got it, there were only 2-3 reviews here on Amazon, all were positive, and all seemed to be written by women, which to me, was impressive. So we got this (after some hesitation about wheeling out about $15 for facial sandpaper).

I ripped the box open to try it as soon as it arrived. The first time, I didn't read the instructions well enough, rubbed too hard and my skin felt really raw minutes after.

2 days and lots of moisturizer later, I was ready to try it again. read the instructions several times (rub gently in circular motion for 30secs or a little more if you have a tougher beard). I did. I was both slow and gentle, making sure to not to let the board touch my skin at all. I rubbed for about a minute or so, but not only did my stubble not feel any different, my skin still felt raw after! Maybe it's just me, but this was a lemon, and I can't return it because, of course, they have to be returned in perfect condition.

There aren't many pads in the package (only 3) and it is comparable to sandpaper to scrub down the stubble.

Doesn't work. Tedious. Just a horrible product. Obviously anyone with regular thickness facial hair and those with thick facial hair won't get any results
