Most Helpful Customer Reviews

1 of 1 people found the following review helpful By Inez Kollmar on December 26, 2011
Format: Paperback
This book gives insights into musicians who have honed their craft with passion & personal integrity & perseverance born out of love for music & the community of both performers & listeners who share that love. Very inspiring. I feel a personal connection with these people that I will never meet in person. Lovely. I hope Trish continues in this vein & includes another whole set of interviews with her next book!

If you are a lover of Jazz or know someone who is, please get this book. The musicians in this book cover many genres of jazz. Reading how they started their careers and more importantly, what keeps them sharing their passion is so enlightening. Trish Richardson allows the reader an intimate insight of the artists. Can not wait for a follow up or two.
