Format: Paperback
The Spellcaster's Reference: Magickal Timing for the Wheel of the Year is a straightforward guide to timing one's castings of spells, ceremonies, and rituals for maximum effectiveness. Part I walks the reader through making effective use of the wisdom in The Spellcaster's Reference; Part II makes recommendations according to the current state of the season, the current astrological year, the current day of the week, and much more. Part III covers the repercussions of lunar cycles and daily (vs. annual) solar cycles., and Part IV presents a list of possible spell subjects followed by recommendations for each. A glossary rounds out this excellent, easy-to-use reference, especially recommended as a supplement to Wiccan magic shelves.

The Spellcaster's Reference is a book that is truly worth its sea salt--not to mention its pepper, ginger, allspice--in fact all spices, as well as herbs and elements. Author Eileen Holland leaves no moonstone unturned in this thorough tome. Even a misfit witch like myself found it easy to read and understand. I found it to include many correspondences that I would have never thought to use if left to my own devices. I found it to not only be a useful resource for creating spells, but also for fine-tuning existing spells. I only wish I had discovered this book earlier. It may have prevented some of my spells from misfiring, backfiring and in need of a complete overhaul. The Spellcaster's Reference will help keep your spells tuned up and firing on all cylinders.

Have tried memorizing correspondences, not good. Could never figure a way to categorize - colors, days, need. This does it all for me.
