This salt has minerals in it that make it taste EXACTLY like eggs ! Incredible ! And this is the best quality black salt I have tried, and I have tried several. Sprinkle it in egg-less salad, makes it better than the real thing ! Sprinkle on tofu scramble along with nutritional yeast and its amazing !

This stuff is incredible! After deciding to go vegan a few months back, I found myself pining for my much loved scrambled eggs. I came across a recipe for tofu scramble, and this was listed as one of the necessary ingredients for 'mimicking' the taste of real eggs. Having never tried tofu until that point, I was astonished as how closely it did in fact replicate the sulphur like taste of eggs. Tofu scramble without the black salt? Passable, but lacking. Tofu scramble WITH black salt. Soooo yummy!! I will never go back to the farm!!

I bought this because they call for it and vegan deviled egg recipe I found. Haven't used it for that yet, but I do use it in my tofu scramble (vegan scrambled eggs). It gives it an egg-ish smell and and a slightly salty taste. I'm a fan.

This was what it said it was, has a sulphur-ish flavor, added an eggy taste to the vegan deviled potatoes I made, they were a hit even with non vegans, so that's always awesome!

This salt is great. As a vegan, it is a great addition to various dishes and provides an interesting flavor that is complex and egg-y.
