Regardless, I praise Amazon.com for advocating freedom of expression even if it may involve bad reviews of books they sell.
There is an area of tissue near the skenes glands which has special nerve endings and tissue, and when pressed upon will eventually cause a contraction of the nearby muscles in a "pushing" style which can be combined with other sexual stimulation to cause a uniquely intense orgasm.
The medical explanation for this area is that the baby's head presses upon it during the birthing process, bringing on the final round of pushing/contractions to complete the birth.
This book is good, but the best technique book on Amazon for using the g-spot for sexual recreation is "ESO: Extended Sexual Orgasm"
This book is more about the science behind the discovery and the naming of the g spot. It includes quotes/anecdotes from women about their experience with g spot stimulation and female ejaculation. This was a very important book and tells interesting tales of the research related to this fascinating area of female sexuality. I recommend it. It gives a good history of Freud, Kinsey, Masters and Johnson and what different scientists and researchers have thought or studied about female sexuality.
If what you want, though, is a "sex guide" - like a how to have better sex type of book - I would steer you instead to Because It Feels Good: A Woman's Guide to Sexual Pleasure and Satisfaction, which just came out in 2009 and is already a favorite of sex educators/therapists, or For Yourself: The Fulfillment of Female Sexuality, which is an older book but a classic in the field. The Good Vibrations Guide to Sex is also good but is very outdated at this point and needs updating. Each of these books talks about female pleasure, orgasm, the g spot, etc. and tips/techniques/couples communication.
This book is a very straight forward read, informative, insightful, and definitely worth your time. Man or woman, everyone should know more about the human body... and the SIMILARITIES between the two sexes are a lesson in themselves. The G-Spot is the equivalent of the male prostate, and along with deep vascular congestion, the nature of the clitoris, and even female ejaculation, the similarities are truly astounding, yet for some reason, this information resonates as confirmation rather than shock.
We love to talk about male and female differences, men are from Mars and women are from Venus, but true woman's liberation should be talking about how we are the same... polar variations of the human being, from Earth, no ribs involved. This book was a long time coming, but the information was well worth the wait.
