Format: Hardcover
While in recent years Stan Lee books have become a cottage industry, THE STAN LEE UNIVERSE delivers the most intensive look at "The Man" to date. From rare and unpublished interviews with Lee, plus historical items pulled from Lee's archives, the book tackles the mystery that is Stan from a newer, more comprehensive perspective. Of particular interest are previously unpublished comics scripts and screenplays by Lee, as well as interesting correspondence with the likes of Will Eisner and Richard Corben re projects that were never to be.

Editors, and well-respected pros, Danny Fingeroth and Roy Thomas have done an excellent job in making this fine book happen.

If you are into Stan Lee tivia then this is the book for you. If you are looking for information about his leadership at Marvel Comics during the 1960's when he created the Marvel editing and writing collaboration style that he is so well know for...etc ) there are other better books.
The presentation here rambles and is confusing at times as to when an article begins and ends. I'm thinking that this may be the intended effect, to make it feel as if you are sifting through Stan's personal files. It appears to me that the authors dug pretty deep to find all of the minutia presented here. It also feels as if I've read a lot of this information previously in other publications.
