Air-tight, light-weight and easy to open and close securely. Holds enough dry dog food for two small pups for two weeks. A five pound sack of flour fits with enough room to scoop and measure flour without spilling. Top removes completely when it is time to replace contents. The stacking feature is a bonus.
**one of the latches broke off six months after purchase. Since the top is not taken off more often than every month or so, the cause seems to be quality rather than over usage.

I love this! I bought it to keep my flour in - I bake a lot. This is not only convenient, but it keeps the flour really fresh. I highly recommend this cannister!
