If you are looking for music here, look somewhere else. This DTS CD is for anyone who would appreciate the pure sound of nature. For anyone who likes background music or background "noise" this Cd is for you. The sound is SO GOOD in the DTS format that if you sit back, close your eyes, and just listen for a few minutes you will almost feal like you are in the middle of what is playing. Track 1 will give you the feel of a thunderstorm. Track 2 will give you the feel of being by the sea. If you Want to hear what DTS can do buy this CD.

As a relaxation tool, this is a wonderful piece of audio tapestry. I have used it for years for MCR's in my office. Particularly useful is "The Storm" that features a moderate to mild thunderstorm in the mountains. It is peaceful and easily blots out office noises to allow you to focus on your relaxation technique.

At 20 minutes (the recommended length for an MCR) there is the faint sound of a train passing through the valley below as the rainstorm slows to a sprinkle. A few minutes later a series of temple bells chime to remind you to end your session. All very handy for use in this manner.

"The Sea" is a nice occasional change from the other cut, but doesn't have the auditory cues in quite the right places for me. Still it is quite useful and effective.

I agree as a piece of "music" it leaves a LOT to be desired, but if used as a relaxation tool, combined with other techniques it is very well worth the money. If cost is a consideration, I've found this same offering as an audio tape and as a vinyl in years past for a GREAT DEAL less. (OK, it doesn't have the surround sound feature and the extreme fidelity, but it still works just fine as a relaxation piece.)

I got down this CD last week from Amazon As I am having DTS equipment's that I bought this to listen to DTS. But you get only raining and sea wave sound for the whole length of the CD no sound flowing one end to the other no base involved giving no excitement its just raining and get boring.
