5.0 out of 5 stars Great Educational Reading! October 1, 2001
By A Customer
Format:Paperback
Both of my boys have loved this book, written about the developement of various inventions and the inventors. My 8th grader read it as part of his 'elective' reading, and enjoyed it very much. Written from a Christ centered perspective, and designated for 6th grade curriculum, it is especially appealing to boys from 5th-9th grade. A+ rating.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for reluctant readers, interesting to all October 19, 2011
Format:Paperback
I'm using the older version of this book in a class of 4 reluctant readers, all boys. They are really enjoying learning about how these inventions led to our modern conveniences we now take for granted. There are not many books that cover this information, and none that I have seen do it as well as this book does. It is well-written, challenging enough to 5-9th graders, yet not too hard for those who are still struggling. Great book! I'm so glad that Christian Liberty is still publishing it.
