The melodies that these ladies give on each track is soothing, refreshing and soulful. Plus when they are highly recommended by The Roots bandmember ?uestlove and Little Brother/Foreign Exchange memeber Phonte two gentlemen that know alot about good music...YOU LISTEN!! As soon as I heard them, I feel in love with there sound. Trust me....you will not regret supporting these young ladies.

Have you ever purchased/downloaded/been gifted a CD that just does something to your soul and reaches deep into your very being? Have you ever heard music so GOOD that you feel like you can taste it? This is King, and this is surely their masterpiece, "The Story". It tastes like the most sweet, all-natural honey this side of the planet. The first time I was directed to this music (by way of Erykah Badu's Twitter), I played all three songs for well over 5 hours straight. I shut the TV off, closed my doors, and stuck my earbuds in my ears. I screamed "King me, King me!" On my Twitter page, exclaiming major props and praise for these lovely young women. This is music to twist your hair to. This is music to take a nice car trip to. It's unique, that's for sure. You may Think you've heard this sound before, but I guarantee hearing the Angelic voices of Paris, Amber, and Anita will make you do a double-take.
"Supernatural" is that kind of romantic ride through space you've been dreaming of. It's got a modern, even yet quick pace to it. You can gently rock your hips to this track and lose yourself. "Hey" is surely for lovers on a warm Summer's day. Hold yourself or your lover close and sway to this one. Give 'em a kiss while you're at it. "The Story" is literally like walking through a lovely foliage-thick park on a warm Spring day with lots of sunshine. Of all the tracks in the album, it is my personal favorite.
This is feel-good music. Incredibly positive, great energy. It's also Parakeet-friendly, lol. If you've got 'keets like I do, prepare to listen to them chatter along heavily like they know the words to this song. When you hear all three songs, I promise you won't want to take the cd out or turn off that iPod. You'll be doing whatever, listening and listening. You won't know where the time has gone.

I happened upon King by word of mouth from Questlove, Phonte and Erykah Badu on Twitter today. I sampled and had to purchase. Best buy this year.
