Works fairly well. Better than expected, truth be told. But not as quickly as you might expect. Can't imagine not having this nifty help meet--slipping pegs are very frustrating and this product is a boon. Take it with you, everywhere you take your fiddle/violin.

as with all peg drops I've tried over the years, these work very well. If you have never used them, here is what you can expect; The pegs will stay put. they feel sticky and are difficult to turn. This makes tuning with the pegs difficult. I recommend putting fine tuners on each string if you plan to use peg drops. If you have a beginner class instrument, most of them have cheaper pegs that slip (often in the middle of playing a piece) this product will stop that from happening.

This product shipped within hours of my purchase! I used it on my violin and it worked like a charm. My strings stayed in tune, and my practice session went well. Don't be afraid to buy this product because it really works. Happy practicing!

This is the only thing for friction pegs on ethnic instruments. It keeps you in tune and lets you concentrate on the music.

My cheapo viola has cheapo pegs that just wouldn't stay. So I bought this peg drops and had the teacher apply it and now we don't have to waste 15 minutes on each lesson to try and keep the strings in place. So far she only applied it twice within 8 weekly lessons.
