Dr. Sandra Sider's sixth book in her Studio Quilt series deviates from the previous five that were an indepth look at an individual studio quilter. This book reveals the work of 60 textile artists from around the world. The Introduction contains the bulk of the text in this book. Each artwork has the name of the piece, the artist, copyright date, and construction/materials list. There is no actual commentary on each individual piece.
Based on my reviewal of the book, no two artists work looks similar which is refreshing in and of itself. There is a broad range of materials used, techniques, and visions.
