This is a great book for any Mom! No, I'm not a Single Mom, but LOVE this book. Any Mom can apply the tools in this book and make a better life for herself and her family. THE SUCCESSFUL SINGLE MOM has a lot to offer the newly divorced mother in regard to personal and professionals goal setting after divorce. The author is honest about the feelings of fear and rejection that accompany the end of a marriage and the emotional paralysis that can result.That said, the book moves quickly from acknowledging those feelings, getting whatever help is necessary from professionals, clergy or friends and planning a future for you and your children.
This book will be particularly helpful to women who want to start their own bussiness. The author has much to offer in this area as she ran her own business before her divorce and shares a number of her keys to building and maintaining a successful business. In addition, she has developed a 100 Day Plan, complete with worksheets, to encourage women to begin setting goals for themselves. This plan,however, is not for everyone as each woman must find her own way and the pace that works for her. A large part of the divorce experience is learning about yourself and developing your own style for creating a life for you and your family.Whatever choices you eventually make, this book will get you thinking and moving! This is the best book for anyone who needs some help finding direction in their life. The author has a great sense of humor and is able to connect with the reader. The tools and techniques are not overwhelming or intimidating and are easy to put into practice. I highly reccommend this book to anyone starting out on a new adventure in life!!!

This book is short (about 100 pages) but helpful. It appears to be self-published but the cover art is nice and the printing is professional.

I enjoyed reading this advice and encouragement from a former single mom who is now a successful business coach and life coach. She kept me well entertained on these pages, in part because I've been there too and her words rang true to my own experience.

I recommend this book for single moms needing encouragement; you'll find an author here who understands what you are going through!

I wish I had discovered this series about ten years ago when I was recently a single mother of four, without a high school education and no prospects. While I have since found my way in the world, I obviously have a few things to learn and reading this book was very helpful.

It is good to know that this series exists so that I can pass them on to my daughters and other women that I know would benefit from their contents. I know too many women that spend too much time frustrated and wondering which way to turn, especially if they've been a stay-at-home mom and become single.

I will be recommending this book (and others by this author) to the many women I know in similar situations and hopefully they will be as inspired as I was.

One of the sad facts of life is that people and families can be destroyed by the selfish acts of others. We see this everyday in our families, communities and world. If by accident or crime, well, that comes with living in this world and somewhat expected. What hits us hard between the eyes is when the hurt is perpetrated by a supposed loved one.

The Successful Single Mom book by Executive Business Coach Honoree Corpron Corder provides practical inspiration on tap for those who have been smacked by life but refuse to stay in shock. Well written, organized and inspirational, this short read condenses seasoned wisdom in easy to absorb chunks. That's good because the single moms who have been smacked and need some help, will have short attention spans in the early stages of trying to stay afloat and row forward.

What I really like about the book is the inclusion of a spiritual perspective that is tolerant and respectful regardless of whichever faith tradition you come from. Face it, churches today are ill-equipped to deal with the kind of collateral damage that occurs in marriages and families. It is a rare church that caters to broken and wounded people making them feel welcome. It is often the reverse. That is why outside of church support groups, ideas, shared experiences and books are crucial and important to help people move forward.

What Honoree has done is taken her pain, and the disgrace of what was done to her and true to her name, honored her maker by shaping it into a gift for others in her coaching business and her writing. As a trained lay counselor, inside the church and out, I would highly recommend this book for friends and family facing challenges that they never expected.

Well done Honoree!
