I took a day in March and downloaded about 700 songs and some were bad, some were great, this one is above average

She has a nice voice and a smooth style. This is the only song I have heard from her though.

The sound of the song reminds me of some of the 90's country music I used to listen to. Sandi Thom's voice is a relaxed and fluid alto. The lyrics are actually very catchy and I find myself singing it hours after I last listened. About 3/4's of the way through the song there's a little riff where the music gets a little heavier and her singing becomes a little more purposeful in a crescendo of emotion.
If you like Martina McBride's 'Broken Wing' but no necessarily because it's country music than you might like this one.
