My son and his family are into plants to eat. So I gave them this book I originally bought for myself. So far I have not dug the dirt up for planting. but when I do I am ordering another book for me.

0 of 1 people found the following review helpful By Sherry B on September 15, 2012
Format: Hardcover
Includes 16 vegetable chapters and 6 fruit chapters, each with a page of grow/harvest/store information and a variety of recipes. The recipes are fresh and appealing, many with color photos. While my husband is not into veggies, even he was willing to try a surprising number of these (parsley-mint pistachio pesto, green chili chicken enchiladas, three-berry buttermilk sherbet).

The photographs are good. The content concept is good. The recipes are not very practical for a family with many children.
