Book Description

Two strangers are about to embark on a journey to a place that cannot exist.

Stacey Hughes has built the life she has always dreamed of. She loves her job, she is married to a wonderful man, and they have an amazing son named Micah. But when her world is suddenly destroyed by one inexplicable act, Stacey is forced to pick up the pieces of her life and start again.

Tyler Sparks has just been betrayed by the two most important people in his life. He is suffering from blackouts, seizures, momentary blindness, and the belief that something is living inside his head. Tyler is positive that all of these things are related, but how is a mystery.

Tyler and Stacey will be thrown together by forces and events beyond their comprehension. As they search for understanding, they will discover that all the answers they seek can be found in only one place . . .

5.0 out of 5 stars Don't judge a book by it's cover May 2, 2004
Format:Paperback
When I first picked up The Thoughtful Spot I didn't have the highest expectations. Not because it sounded like a bad read, but because the genre didn't really fit my typical preference. I read it anyway beacause I had met the author and I felt that if his personality showed up in the book at all, it would be a very interesting read. I was right. I read it in only a few days and althogh the time passed very quickly, the content was beautifully profound. I really enjoyed The Thoughtful Spot and I'm sure that anyone else who reads it will enjoy it as well.

This author wrote an excellent novel that started as contemporary fiction that turned into something completely different once you get further..It ended up being a mix of supernatural/psychological thriller..The entire story captivated and kept me guessing all the way to the unbelievable ending..The signs of a good writer is great characterization where you become so concerned for them and lost in their painful world that you miss clues that were there all the time...When you done reading your left thinking about the author's novel for days..Where some may think the plot is far fetched, it really depends on what you believe in or if your open minded enough to possibilites..The story is about life, love, coping with tragedy and learning to let go......

But what if they won't let you go....What if a wrong needed to be made right..They are the restless seeking revenge beyond the grave....
Stacy Hughes and Tyler Sparks are complete strangers but because of unforseen circumstances their two worlds will collide and lives come crashing down..They both are suffering pain and confusion..Their common link is they both know a teen, named Jake that keeps appearing in and out of their lives..

The only way any of them will ever "rest in peace" again is if they go to "The Thoughtful Spot".....

I will definitely be looking for other stories by Eric Weule in the future......

By Therese
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
The Thoughtful Spot is an excellent read. With the turn of each page the Author pulls you in deeper and deeper, taking you on an adventure with the characters that taps deeply into your emotions. This book leaves you with the nagging questions of "what if" and "why" and you may find yourself wondering when the sequel is coming out.
A Great Book that is Well Written.

4.0 out of 5 stars Thrilling, supernatural, and mysterious April 26, 2004
By Karen
Format:Paperback
As I read this book, I kept thinking this would make a great MOVIE! I couldn't stop turning the pages to find out what happened to Micah, all the while feeling a horrible sense of spine-tingling dread. As a resident of Southern California, I also enjoyed the local flavor of the book. The book is original in combining themes of deep parental love with supernatural mystery.

5.0 out of 5 stars A bit far fetched- but still a good read August 19, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Just finished this book last night. While it didn't grip me as it did other the reviewers, I still found my self drawn into the characters. I liked the way they flipped back and forth from both Tyler and Stacey's point of view- sometimes I did feel it veered off track a little bit. I loved the idea of the book- I don't want to give anything away. But the thought of the depth of love, honor, sacrifice, as well as the idea of cosmic unity was interesting as well as comforting. The book makes for many water cooler conversations- so in all- a very successful read.

5.0 out of 5 stars Beautifully heartbreaking... June 23, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
The Thoughtful Spot is a beautifully written story about life, death and loves ultimate sacrifice. The characters are real people forced together by circumstances beyond their control. I loved this book and Eric Weule has a writing style that makes it impossible to put down. So happy to have found this author!

1.0 out of 5 stars I'm the 21st reviewer... September 29, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
The author's friends and relatives had to be the first 20. After an interesting start, this book was quite awful. I like unusual plots, but not to the point of them being ludicrous and ridiculous and idiotic. That's exactly what happened here. This was one of the most inane books I've ever read.
