Format: Paperback
This book contains the final reports of the two government investigations into the loss of the Titanic shortly after it happened in 1912, one by the British government, one by the American. They contain a good description of the events that led up to the sinking and its aftermath. Both also contain discussion of the Californian, the passenger ship that was less than ten miles away from the sinking Titanic, saw her lights, saw her signal rockets -- and did nothing to help. A good source for those who are interested in the Titanic wreck.
