Book Description

This Travel Bug tale is the first in a series. The story introduces an adventurous travel bug named Buzworth von Wanderwing and a nervous flea named Nelson. This odd couple meets inside the Patterson house one terrible winter’s night. At first they bicker; but soon become friends when an army of stink bugs invades the home. The attack results in smelly pandemonium but fortunately, Nelson and his ever-present Book of Plans saves the day.

5.0 out of 5 stars Charming story. May 1, 2012
Format:Paperback
The Travel Bug series is a charming collection of books that will enchant readers of all ages: young, not-so-young, and anywhere in between. The characters - Buzworth and Nelson - seem very different at first glance, but soon learn through their adventures that their diversity is what brings them together. They become dependent on each other for their survival throughout the trials the harsh winter months bring them, and they soon become inseparable friends - an idea we could all learn from.
The Travel Bug books will soon become a firm favourite with all readers and a regular request as a bedtime story.

5.0 out of 5 stars Creative & Adorable! May 3, 2012
Format:Paperback
You will be hooked the minute you start reading this tale! For 94 pages I was transforned into a bug and saw the world from my own bug eyes. It is beautiful and clever and I have great admiration for the imaginative author! I look forward to reading about the future exploits of The Travel Bug!

5.0 out of 5 stars A Fabulous Read!! April 29, 2012
Format:Paperback
Delightful!! A wonderfully sweet story about the most unlikely of friends! Buz and Nelson remind us that it is through our friendships that we find the best within ourselves. Their journey together is just the beginning in The Travel Bug Takes Flight. Hope there is more of their story to come!!!
