About the Author

Beth Williamson holds a B.F.A. in writing from New York University.

More About the Author

Beth Williamson, who also writes as Emma Lang, is an award-winning, bestselling author of both historical and contemporary romances. Her books range from sensual to scorching hot. She is a Career Achievement Award Nominee in Erotic Romance by Romantic Times Magazine, in both 2009 and 2010, and a quarter-finalist in the 2014 Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award Contest.

Beth has always been a dreamer, never able to escape her imagination. It led her to the craft of writing romance novels. She's passionate about purple, books, and her family. She has a weakness for shoes and purses, as well as bookstores. Her path in life has taken several right turns, but she's been with the man of her dreams for more than 20 years.

Beth works full-time and writes romance novels evening, weekends, early mornings and whenever there is a break in the madness. She is compassionate, funny, a bit reserved at times, tenacious and a little quirky. Her cowboys and western romances speak of a bygone era, bringing her readers to an age where men were honest, hard and packing heat. For a change of pace, she also dives into some smokin' hot contemporaries, bringing you heat, romance and snappy dialogue.

Life might be chaotic, as life usually is, but Beth always keeps a smile on her face, a song in her heart, and a cowboy on her mind.

The Treasure by Beth Williamson was by far the most touching and heart wrenching novel I have read from Ms. Williamson.

NOBODY does cowboys like Beth Williamson! You'll love this book. Great series, too. Ray Malloy and Lillian Wickham are a very yummy couple, different as night and day and combustable.

If you love westerns, read this!

Ray Malloy needs help in the worst way. His daughter has been allowed to basically run free and now Ray has a five-year-old varmint on his hands. Ray loves his daughter Melody more than anything in this world and wants her to be taught how to be a proper lady so he decides to hire a governess from the east coast to teach Melody girly stuff. Ray doesn't count on his attraction to the governess nor does he realize just how much she has to teach him as well.

Lily Wickham is running out of options. Fired yet again for her perpetual clumsiness and inability to be unattractive, Lily has nowhere else to go but back to the nuns who raised her after the death of her mother. It is there at the convent that Lily is given one more chance to become the governess she knows she can be. Francesca Malloy, the Mother Superior's best friend from childhood, has written and asked that Mother send a governess to Wyoming to help her son take control of his hoyden daughter. Lily isn't sure that she is cut out for Wyoming but finds herself a mere two months later stepping onto a train.

Lily arrives in Wyoming and is greeted by the rudest man she has ever met. How dare he instantly think she is unacceptable? Lily vows then and there that she is going to show Ray Malloy a thing or two. Well, if she can keep her clumsiness and nervousness at bay.

Lily shows Ray and his daughter many things in the weeks that follow. It is two bad that a blight from Ray's past has decided that his daughter is up for grabs. It will take Lily and Ray working as a team to overcome this evil. Things that Ray thought he dealt with a long time ago come to the surface and past hurts are verbalized. Lily must strive to recreate her less than dignified upbringing in order to keep Ray's daughter safe.

I read the entire series and loved each and every book. Not the most erotic - true - BUT some very HOT spots and lots of wonderful dialogue and family interaction. I would recommend this series to anyone looking for true 'calgon take me away' reads.
