I got it for architect as an addition to his birthday gift. He loves drawing as well, and he loved it. It is a funny way to look at the greatest master pieces.

I just picked this up at a museum and will be purchasing more as it will be my gift to friends in the coming year. Gufaws, chuckles and more as each page reveals the 'what if' this happened first and then came the art. Each time I pick this up...I have a new favorite. If you are moved by The Scream you will be more that moved when you see what happened to cause it. Or the sneeze that started impressionism. There's so much more..but you have to get it to see.

There were hits and misses, but the hits were laugh out loud funny. And the misses were still interesting. This is not just clever and humorous, but the original art work is flat out brilliant. Just a head's up, some of the paintings are nudes, so you might want to think twice before showing this to kids.
