Very emotional movie. I saw it originally on tv and had to own it. After suffering through seven years of infertility, I know how rough it can be. This heart-wrenching story will change your perspective on life in general and what it means to share it even if you don't have the time you thought you did.

Almost too hearbreaking to watch sometimes, this Lifetime movie was written by the talented woman portrayed by the equally talented Amy Madigan. Excellent performances all around with a life-affirming point of view even as death closes in. Especially interesting to me was how the main character's non-belief in God evolved into faith as she suffers the losses of her husband and baby.

This movie is very touching. It shows how family should stick together and be supportive during a family crisis. It also shows how true your friends can be when you get diagosed with a highly contagious disease.

And Then There Was One has got to be one of the most emotionally overwhelming of all the True Stories Collection films. Without being technically considered a religious film, it documents the incredible power of faith in God.

Take the phone off the hook, make yourself a nice cup of tea and grab a very large box of tissues. If you want to be emotionally moved by a true story, you've found the perfect DVD.

I had a Very hard time finding this movie. I first watched this movie on Thanksgiving Night in 1994. This is the only movie I have ever watched that made the Adult Men in my Family cry. The price was great, although I probably would have paid more for this movie. The disc played well too.

A moving, real life drama. The story of the Ventolas is one of the best dramas I've seen in quite awile. It gets a little heavy at the end but, not sappy. The Ventolas make you really think about whats really imprortant in life and how to cope with an impossible situaton. Also, an excellent answer to the religious community who say the secular media can't or won't make a film about faith in God. Vinnie 's faith is demonstrated beautifully whithout getting preachy. An excellent film for anyone going through a similar situation or someone just needing a good cry.

I saw this movie on TV when it first came out and have been looking for it for years...it's a real tearjerker I thought the acting was excellent. Now I've finally found a DVD of it (couldn't remember the name of the movie) and am purchasing it...that's how much I love it. ONE OF MY FAVORITE MOVIES!
