Book Description

This is the sequel to A Howl in the Night, written for adults (PG-13) It is a mystery/ adventure with two lovable dogs who narrate the story.
Taser and Meatloaf's world is turned on its head
when the recession finally hits their rich Scottsdale subdivision. Money problems filter down and disrupt the two Labrador's lives.
Their master, Robert, struggles to make his house payments, while Taser struggles to understand money and the economy in an effort to help. Criminal activity arrives in their declining neighborhood, along with a new alpha-dog challenger to Taser. The Labs try to cheer up Robert by finding him a new mate, but suddenly a new challenge pops up: Dogs are disappearing from their homes.
When the pack hears a plaintive cry for help in the form of The Twilight Howl, they must join forces with their coyote enemies to save one of their own.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Twilight Howl March 21, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I also read A Howl for Help and thought it couldn't be beat - I was highly surprised and delighted The Twilight Howl was just as exciting, funny and entertaining as the first book I read. I love this series and highly recommend it. I keep hoping for new ones to come out!

5.0 out of 5 stars This series rocks March 2, 2013

I am certainly hoping for many, many more stories about Taser and Meatloaf. This story is totally written from the point of view of Taser (a black lab) and centers around his bro (Meatloaf) who always has food on his mind and a bunch of his doggy pals (and a coyote) who solve mysteries. The dogs seem so real that you forget the reality. These two dogs are actually pets of the author, who has a website where you can watch a video of them (taken by a video cam on Taser's back). Read this and enjoy!

5.0 out of 5 stars A fun doggie read August 7, 2014

I read this book in 2 hours. It was a delightful read. Nothing more violent then a death of a hero dog without nasty descriptions of the death. Maybe a little too flippent about the death for me, but I am a softie.
I loved the dog narrative. It would be a good teen read. As an adult, I will go back and read book one and follow these two crazy pups in their adventures.

5.0 out of 5 stars Love these books!! January 16, 2014

Detective tales from a dog's point of view. Genius storytelling if you are a dog lover, still very entertaining if you are not. Very highly recommended!

4.0 out of 5 stars Howled with delight October 15, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I enjoy very much Brandon's dog detective stories. Much like Chet and Bernie mysteries told by the dog. I wish taser and meatloaf much more success. Fun and real page turners. Would definitely recommend.
