Product Description

Five out of ten people believe that alien spacecraft travel in our skies, yet few have actually seen a UFO themselves. The topic of alien visitation has been debated for decades and has included passionate discussions about Roswell, Area 51, UFO sightings, alien abductions, Shag Harbour, and government conspiracies. What you hold in your hands is the ultimate UFO collection - six DVDs that explore the topic thoroughly, from the very beginning to present day. Packed with enough information to keep everyone - believers and non-believers alike - completely transfixed, the set features interviews with scientists, ufologists, eyewitnesses, conspiracy theorists and those who claim to have been abducted. Other topics explored include the Majestic 12, an elite group of scientists, military and intelligence officials brought together by President Harry Truman and the SETI program, which employs radio astronomy to scan the galaxy for signs of extraterrestrial intelligence. Whichever side you're on, this collection offers a breadth of information not found anywhere else.

Hard to get actual details on this set, so I just bought it to find out for myself. One was tempted into being fooled that the set was some new series of shows from A&E. No, not so. Hell no. I cringed when I flipped the box over and read "contains episodes from numerously acclaimed HISTORY series on DVD." Related episodes are included from Ancient Aliens, History's Mysteries, Mega Disasters, Mysteryquest, The Unexplained, and Conspiracy? Yes, it's just an anthology of mostly old A&E/History Channel shows for a high $$ amount! The History Classics line which usual include 4 discs retail for $19.99. This 6 disc set retails for $60 ($47 currently on Amazon). The price point is not good.

Now, here's what's included:
Disc 1: UFOs The First Encounters/UFOs: Have We Been Visited? (137min total)
Disc 2: Where Are All The UFOs?/Roswell: Secrets Unveiled/Roswell: Final Declassification (182 min total)
Disc 3: UFOs vs. the government/Close Encounters/UFOs: Testing The Evidence/Alien Abductions (180 min total)
Disc 4: Kecksburg UFO/Area 51/Majestic 12: UFO Coverup (136 min total)
Disc 5: Area 51: Beyond Top Secret/Alien Infection/Alien Cover-up (132 min total)
Disc 6: Best Of Ancient Aliens: The Evidence/Mysterious Places (138 minutes)

I already owned most of these titles from previously released A&E/History Channel DVDs. If you've never previously purchased these shows, then this would be a good set to obtain. Otherwise, you're like me and feel terribly ripped off and double dipped.
