I first saw this mug at a friend's home and wow, did I want it! There is a matching Shakespeare's Love Quotes mug, but that wasn't nearly as much fun to read while sipping a cup of java.

Some of our favorite insults included on the mug are:

"I do desire we may be better strangers." (personal favorite)

"Anointed sovereign of sighs and groans"

"False of heart, light of ear, bloody of hand"

"Clod of wayward marl"

They are just too fun!

Besides the insults, the mug is very sturdy, solidly built. It has not chipped and we are rough on mugs here. It washes well in the dishwasher and doesn't lose the coloring on the sayings. It is also microwave safe.

If you do not wish to be the "veriest varlet that ever chewed with a tooth" you will certainly consider this mug. :D

The mug comes in a cardboard box; java is extra. We recommend Peet's coffee whenever possible.

I bought this mug on a whim, thinking that it would provide a few comments when people saw it, and I was not disappointed. The insults depicted on the mug are uproariously funny, and people who can understand them find them amazing. If one wants to quote Shakespeare, this is the way to start.

This was a great gift for my teenage son who wears snarky t-shirts and loves Shakespeare and insults. The mug is large and high quality. The company shipped it very quickly.

This mug is very large; you could easily use it for soup or just a big cup of coffee (in my case hot chocolate). The witty insults are great conversation starters and get a good laugh at work.

I bought this as a gift and got one for myself. The next time I am stressed out by someone, I will have a handy reference. :) However, the finish on the mug seems like a cheap custom print job and the inside became scuffed from spoons, etc. within a few weeks of use (and not daily use). For the price, I found this disappointing. I just hope the person I bought this as a gift for decides to use it as a decoration rather than a mug so that it stays pristine longer.

I am in love with this brilliant mug.
My father liked/envied it so much I got him his very own for Father's Day.

It is pretty large (16oz) which makes it perfect for holding pens and brick-a-brack on my desk and in constant viewing, as if the Bard himself where there suggesting a good quip when needs be!
Such as; "I do desire we may be better strangers" and "anointed sovereign of sighs and groans."

The mug's glaze is a satin finish which which helps cut down on the super glare of a high gloss finish most mugs are glazed in.
The mug handle is small (about one and a half inch opening) but sturdy.
Overall the quality of this mug superfine! It's definitely not your average ceramic mug, and it's a nice bonus to know it's dishwasher and microwave safe. :D

This is the perfect gift for anyone who loves coffee, Shakespeare or just enjoys witticisms in the workplace or at home.

This is a nice big mug and the quotes are fun. Very well-received by the actor for whom it was a gift.
