I discovered Karen Ranney's writing when I read A Dance In The Dark. It was different from anything I'd ever read with most of the tale centering on the interaction between just the 2 main characters... but I thoroughly enjoyed that book... and I sometimes still think of it.

The Unmentionables is another book which I would place in that highest caliber of books. It, again, is highly unusual... I've never read a book in which the main characters are various underwear garments... but Ms. Ranney has flawlessly and imaginatively developed the characters of the garments in such a unique way that I cannot describe it but only encourage others to read of them.

I can honestly state that I'll never look at underwear garments the same way after reading this book! Thank you, Karen, for enriching our lives with your vivid imagination!

I must admit I have never read stories written from an undergarment's perspective before, but I found each story to be interesting and fun and a couple were laugh out loud funny! Ms. Ranney's creative mind continues to amaze and I look forward to her next writing adventure.
