The book starts out making me wonder if every one is going to die in the first chapters..this just sets the scene..scenes.events are happenning all over the country...the book has a lot of action going on...it has a never ending love story..lots of killing..comedy...lots of drama..best part is every part could really have happened..great read could not put down..

I must say this book was a real page-turner. After the characters were developed I couldn't put the book down. Although I am not a huge "western" or "historic" type of reader, I thought the book was excellent! It is a love story, yes but there is plenty of drama (and humor) as the story develops simultaneously around the country. I do agree this book is an excellent read for both male and female readers. I admit I was nervous about the ending! I kept thinking how this book would make a great movie! I loved the book and thought it was well written. I am looking forward to the next novel by Larry Jeffries.

The information and history in this book was undoubtably researched. I was amazed at how well the book was written. The characters were unique and the storyline was great and right on point with history. Once I picked up this book, I could not put it down. I'm certainly looking forward to the next book. A+++ all the way!

For anyone who enjoys a great novel with lots of action and intense scenes this is a great novel for you. I am a woman and for me i love romance but not to much mushy gushy romance. This novel was so unpredictable at time which keeps me interested b/c u want to read and read to find out whats going to happen. Between the Indian scenes and the romance and the laughter, its just a great book for every type of reader. For anyone that lives around here in the cincinnati area it also has relatable and close refrences to local ares, which i thought was pretty neat. Any who .. its a great read and i highly recomend this to other readers, i also read the Uninvited and that to my friends was great. Totally different kind of story and probably appeal to a slightly different reader but was such a great find for me. I hope you enjoy it !
