Review: Nations Afire - The Uprising
Nations Afire sound exactly like equal parts Ignite and Rise Against, with a little bit of Death By Stereo. Which is convenient, because the band is made up of past and present members of Ignite, Rise Against and Death By Stereo. Opening track Exit Strategy is by far the most immediate and catchy, with a melodic hardcore vibe reminiscent of Rise Against and particularly Ignite. Falling Faster is a slightly slower mid paced track, and the remainder sound like b-sides from a Rise Against session of recent years. |
