Hah. On the Blu-ray release, they have the option for edited or unedited audio for the finale episode. I started with the edited version, but after hearing such a rapid string of bleeps I quickly went back to the beginning of it to hear the tales.

Yeah, I was annoyed by this as well. Not to mention buying the split up season costs more (if you get Amazon's prices).
