SHe is the best! After knowing her in the FRIDA soundtrack, I started to collect her CDs. This is one of the best that I like. Very touching and her voice can really articulate the feelings and motions of herself.

Lila is amazing. The passion and fire she brings to her performances is amazing. Go see her life if you get the chance.

Beautiful voice and great music to put on for reading, company and parties. Just from the tone of her voice you will know what the song is about...One of my favorite singers after hearing her on "Frieda" the movie...

I love love love this compilation of Lila's best. This is the second copy I buy I gave the first one to my dad he loves it as well!

I was expecting at least one or two new songs or at least a live performance. Lila's music is awesome, if you're new to Lila, then yes definitely recommended but if you have all her albums like me, then save the money and make your own collection.

Do you like Mexican women who pretend to be oh-so-proud of their ALLEGED "heritage" but are really coffee house divas? Well, that's Lila Downs. She sings and talks her nonsense and is sincere about none of it. I have all of her CD's. After meeting her and her vile assistants, maids, secretary's, bodyguards etc, I have to throw all of the music out. It is painful as I truly adored her. I traveled 3000 miles to see her in Los Angeles and it turned into a very ugly thing. She has led people to believe she is what she sings about. In truth...she is no different that Beyonce, Madonna, Shakira or any other showbiz personality. Lots of people left tonight in Los Angeles, saying, "THAT was Lila?" She is ice-cold and detached. She is a white persons idea of a "mexican." The Frida Kahlo wannabe, who can NEVER, EVER compare, because she is a sell-out.

This CD represents all of the falsity she's provided so far. It sickens many to hear it at this point. We must be careful of those musicians we believe to be "the real deal." We are deceived out of our money, plain and simple.
