Look no further, it's finally here. Fell in love with Gallo's writing while stumbling on ESPN. He's always a breath of fresh air in the midst of so many "knock off" sports writers. I constantly read his columns to get an insightful and hilarious view of things from his perspective. Gallo gives the reader his straight up opinions while cathcing your imagination. I could burn through this book on my lunchbreak, or an extended one, lol. It's that captivating!! You won't be disapointed.

Personally I think DJ Gallo is one of the best things to happen to sports "journalism." I find just about everything he writes about sports to be downright hilarious. This book is no different. If you are a big sports fan in general (rather than just a fan of one team in one sport), then you will likely find this to be very enjoyable.

I mention that qualifier because if you are not aware of certain things in sports (e.g. the Yankees being willing to pay anyone who has played a good game $100mm) then you might not find the jokes as funny. Look at the jokes on the cover and see if you like them.

I love The Sports Pickle and DJ Gallo is the funniest writer out there. He surpassed Rick Reilly as the funniest writer, which is saying something considering how great Reilly is.

But there is no way you CAN'T find this book funny.

Wow, the last reviewer, C. Irwin must be a huge Ray Lewis fan......
Anyway, this book is great. A hilarious take on sports. A must buy if you are a fan of Barbaro, or Ray Lewis, aka "God's Linebacker."
