3.0 out of 5 stars Long but somewhat rewarding read., September 10, 2011
This review is from: The Virginians (Kindle Edition)
I found this book to be a rather interesting period piece and is fascinating for it's detail in the intricacies of the eighteenth century. The story though was somewhat predictable save for a few moments, and at times the story would jump around as if the author did not know where he wanted to go, but with the narrative always changing I felt that it made the long read more tolerable and interesting peppered with a few moments of excitement. Overall a good if not long winded read that is great for people interested in both the manners and morals of the time period.
