I would recommend this book to anyone interested in improving their health. Written in a well understood manner.

Very informative. And worth reading. Too much today is promoted by pharmaceutical companies, which drs. are often paid, or taken to lunch or sent on trip to promote their drugs, when the majority of the time you are lacking a specific nutriient such as Vit. D. And wouldn't you rather take a vitamin rather than put another chemical in your body. I often talk with my mom about how when I was growing up (I was born in 1966) how we didn't have all of these cases of cancer. Especially young children. But back then we weren't using all of the chemicals we are using today (pesticides, etc.).

This is a great book to read! So many people do not even know that they have low vitamin D levels. I think everyone should have those levels checked often to make sure that they in the normal range. I do not have a Thyroid and I didn't know that your vitamin D levels can go down because of this and make you feel really sluggish. I started to see Dr. James Dowd and he explained all this to me and more. I'm lucky enough that I live in the area that he has his practice and I have had the chance to understand this and more from him. Very good book.

This information is a real eye opener about our health. I highly recomment it for anyone interested in learning how to take care of your body and your mind.

I believe that tanning is only a bad thing if you over do it. We need our vitamin D and sunshine to survive and be healthy. I am not able to get in the sun so it works for me to tan occasionally ((that's the key word) and take vitamin D tablets in the winter. Especially this year!

This has been my favorite book on Vit. D so far out of four that I have purchased. The info is extremely helpful. I was able to start right off taking Vit D without worrying before I had a chance to get tested for decency. I would highly recommend it.

I really enjoyed this book...It assisted me in bring up my Vitamin D level to a more acceptable level...I could not have done it without this book...

Good suggestions and easy to read, I am on my way to recovery already! A good buy if you need help with your Vitamin D deficiency
