I loved this story of mystery and exploration. The story takes place in Norway and Sweden and... I will not reveal more than that. The characters are as alive and filled with courage as ever is the case with Verne.

Format: Paperback
Famous for predicting atomic submarines, moon flight, and dinosaurs in the middle of the earth, an aging Jules Verne turned his prophetic eye towards predicting mini-wafers, or "waifs" as he called them. (Mind you, this is years before Nabisco had ever dreamed of the necessary technology!) I won't spoil the book by telling you what a "Cynthia" is, but I'll give you one clue: it's a piano!
