If you don't like Conan, or reading Robert E Howard, then don't buy this book. However, if you enjoy a good action yarn and appreciate Howard's style, then you will find the dour Puritan Solomon Kane a fun read.

Of course, if you are looking for the bloody pirate from the movie, you won't find him here.

I am more than pleased with this purchase. I have been a fan of Robert E. Howard for over 50 years and am always happy to find works by him to include in my collection of reading material.

Solomon Kane is one of Howard's earlier characters. I found him to be more interesting than Conan, though I suppose that opinion might change once I read some more of his works.

This volume contains 'Skulls in the Stars, The moon of skulls and The footfalls within, though this has been incorrectly titled as 'the hills of the dead'.

Nice cover art as well.
