This review is from: The War On Peace (MP3 Download)
Wow, this album is really solid. I started following bignic a couple years ago, and this is definitely his best album. It has a huge variety of songs, and starts out with the upbeat funky jazz track "The End of Something." The middle of the album is more downtempo chill music like "Inexplicable," "Happy," and "1986." The second half of the album picks up the pace with some fun retro tracks like "New," and "Thump," which are the bread and butter of this album. La Luna is a personaly favorite track: driving, breaky, complex, and just awesome to listen to.
Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is I didn't really groove on the last track, "Low." I would've liked to see the album go out on a higher note instead of slowing it way down and easing out. Still its an excellent musical experience, so pick it up and listen to it straight through; you won't be dissapointed.
