More About the Author
Armed with a fantastic part-time job as a physician in the Alaskan Bush (imagine a combo of Northern Exposure and E.R., minus the beautiful mountains and George Clooney), she enjoys being home in the gorgeous Black Hills of South Dakota, riding her dirt bike with her three wonderful kids and beyond-patient husband.
Her motto? Life is too short to do anything less than what you absolutely love. She counts herself lucky to have two jobs she adores and incredibly blessed to be a part of Harlequin/Mills and Boon's family of talented authors.

Advance to his sister marrying for the second time. The heroine owns a bridal shop and she is planning the wedding. He really wants no part of the event and has not much to do with his "family" for several years. Well, the heroine is determined to make him a part of it all whether he wants to or not. She blackmails him by telling him she will tell all their childhood embarrassing stories to all his friends if he doesn't take part. So he agrees.
Then she starts in on him that he really should talk to his mother. Now, he hasn't talked to the bitch for many years and she has made NO EFFORT to talk to him but yet HE should make the advance. R U KIDDING ME? He owes this bitch NOTHING. From there, she gets him into her shop to "measure" him for a tux. She winds up measuring his crotch in ways I have never heard of until he is ready to go and does. But, she hasn't extracted enough blood from this turnip, so she gets his handcuffs and cuffs him to the wrought iron table in her fitting room. That ended it for me. I was really hoping he would grab her around the throat and strangle her until she gave him the keys.
I have never hated a heroine more than I did this one. Do I plan to get the next book to see how this ends? NOT ON YOUR LIFE. The only thing I liked about this book was the hero! Too bad he didn't just threaten to tell some of her embarrassing moments. What? did she plan to blackmail him for the rest of his life over this juvenile crap? UGH, I really hated this book.
It is a nice read leaving you at the end with an optimistic feel, even though it is not the actual end of the story.
A few things were a bit over the top for me, and a bit unrealistic, especially when the author describes the thoughts of the main male character. But this is really a matter of personal taste, and if you are a true romance fan, it will not stop you to enjoy the story.
her wedding. It's a delusion is his opinion to find happily ever after. His
sister'a childhood friend Amber has other ideas. She believes in marriage and
wants him to attend the wedding for his sister's sake. Can she change his mind?
Worth a read. Adults 18+ only for sexual scenes
I had already read the first book in the multi-author Wedding Season series from Mills & Boon's Modern Tempted range so I'd met Amber and Parker before and was curious to read this story to see how they got together. The Wedding Dress Diaries is a quick read but it was a cute story and it makes for a nice introduction to the series.
Parker is the older brother of one of Amber's best friends and she has had a crush on him since she was a young girl. He is five years older though and always thought of her as his little sister's pesky friend. Amber is the kind of girl who dreams of big weddings and happily ever afters while Parker has abandonment issues and is determined to never let any woman get close to him. He is happy to stick with one night stands rather than risk getting his heart broken. They haven't seen each other for years until they bump into each other at his sister's engagement party and Parker doesn't even recognise Amber at first but he does find himself attracted to the beautiful woman she has become. Amber is determined to help Parker and his sister build a closer relationship and she is willing to take drastic measures to get what she wants.
I thought they make a really cute couple but since this is such a short story their relationship develops very quickly. I would have loved a longer story about them and there was definitely room to do that when you take into account Parker's history. If you're looking for a quick read then it's well worth giving this one a try - especially since it's a free read so you can't really lose. I'm planning on continuing with the rest of the series very soon and hope we'll see Amber and Parker make more of an appearance in future instalments.

This was a quick easy read. Hard to put down. I would read it again in the future. I will probably try some of the other books in the series.Published 3 months ago by Denise Donigan
Well developed characters with a nice story line. The only problem (and it's a big problem) is that it's a very short story. Seriously the book gets over in literally 5-6 scenes!Published 3 months ago by Amazon Customer

Typical modern romance with just the right feel good vibe. Nothing out of the ordinary but sufficiently entertaining for a light read.Published 8 months ago by Pilgrim
