Michael Tresca has put together a remarkably fun and action-packed tale. This is a great debut fiction novel from a writer who has put out several successful D&D modules and a non-fiction book about gamers and gaming. The story flowed easily; you could tell that the plot was thought through start to finish and the characters had full backgrounds.

I especially liked the humor injected throughout the story - while the tale itself was well-thought out and written, the humor is what really set it apart from other novels for me. Mr. Tresca's wit shines through the entirety of the novel, and that made the book fly by as I read it.

The characters were fun, the story was engaging, and I can't wait to see more from this author. Great job!
