I am hoping to kayak a section on the east side of Vancouver Island and this book has given me a wealth of information. It will make my trip safer and more enjoyable.

Used this guide on a recent trip to BC. Not many hikes available in the area I was looking at, but the three kayak trips I took were well described. Obviously, I'd also recommend getting a map of the local area you plan to kayak as well.
