Do any of you who had ever seen this old TV movie recall a little blonde boy who was playing with the female chimpanzee in a laboratory or something? That was one of my school classmates during the late '70s and the early '80s! In fact, I've grown up with him and we even both went on to junior high together. Well, the publicity he got at the time was really unbelievable; just look at all those newspaper articles written about him! And what's more, they also shot this film in the very town where I spent most of my childhood!
Well, I know how forgettable this little action flick is, but it's got a real adventure story within an exotic setting as well as...oh, yes...some real VIOLENCE, so please be careful around your young kids, okay? It's about some guy and a girl who took a few tame chimpanzees out on a boat trip to see Africa. This little troop of chimps wore some adorable doll-like costumes and could communicate in sign language (both the boy and I came from a hearing impaired class.) And there are also a whole bunch of bad guys out to capture the chimpanzees in wild, so it's up to the hero to save them! But there will be some funny moments with those cuddly beasties as well! So if you could get your hands on this lost little film, just sit back and ENJOY!:)

I have seen this movie when I was about 8 years old and have been trying to find a copy of it. Thats 14 years ago. It is fantastic. It is so tuching, it is happy, sad and excitting. I don't realy know how to explain it I just loved it. This movie you can watch it over and over again. My whole family loved it. If you love monkeys, it is defently for you. You will find you can't get it in a video store any more. So Buy it.
