Editorial Reviews

The path to knowing yourself is a long, winding road full of obstacles. On our chosen road, we should never forget that we are souls inhabiting this planet. We can neither detach ourselves from the world we live in nor can we detach from our own souls. Hence, The Wise aims to combine spiritual teaching with the experience of daily life while employing both the mind and soul. Just as in life, we welcome all of you to this journey of The Wise with topics on spiritualism, esotericism, mysticism, and other consciousness-raising media and discussions. The Wise expects to embrace mankind all over the world through mutual issues and pay tribute to our journey which began seven years ago in the lands of Anatolia.

3.0 out of 5 stars Uneven Article Quality December 25, 2011
is somewhat offset by the widerange of topics covered. A range of topics and styles is to be expected but the weirdly certain and lecturing tone of 'How to Charm a Spiritual Woman part two' was highly off putting. I'll keep reading as the previous article 'My Life on Wheels' was interesting. Both articles could have used more thorough editing, particularly line editing. As is it seems like a mediocre mish mash of topics ranging all over the map and only tenuously linked to the ostensible purview of the work. Tightening the focus editing of the magazine would probably help. I'll keep reading for now.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good Job February 15, 2012
What a great idea from Turkish spiritualist writers with an Eurasian point of view with a great diversity of articles. You can find many different articles from Yoga to Spiritual tours, Astrology to 2012 phenomenon and many other good stuff. I'd suggest you go to a cafe by yourself and start reading interviews and articles, you won't feel alone and even smile then maybe people want to know what good stuff you are reading on.

3.0 out of 5 stars PC/Mac Reader N/A December 13, 2011
The articles are interesting and on the Kindle okay to read, until a page has a diagram or illustration and then it's too small to read. I've had good luck with other pubs downloaded on my IPOD touch 3rd Gen, Apple or PC, but this magazine isn't available for IPOD or PC Reader. I only give it 3 stars since I can't read some of the articles on the Kindle (a recurring issue with Kindle), or download this mag to my PC, MAC or any device. Why keep it if I can't read some sections.
If this comes available for any other platform other than Kindle, I might subscribe again, but for now I'm canceling it.

3.0 out of 5 stars the wise a bimonthly magazine January 8, 2015

This was I think a magazine about the spiritual life, but there was a wide spectrum of articles under that umbrella. For example, I would have never thought that astrology was spiritual, but there were articles about astrology. One thing that I thought was good was the de-emphasis on religion. I consider religion and spirituality separate, though the two can exist side by side, The three stars is because there were to many articles for me. I understand that it is a bi-monthly magazine. I am glad I tried it, but overall, it did not work for mr.
