More About the Author

UK author of The Witching Pen and the international bestselling Eye Of The Storm series.

Dianna combines a titillating mix of contemporary and paranormal romance, as well as urban and dark fantasy, into her writing, to bring you stories that are action-packed, fast-paced and not short of heat, with the focus on both character development and the plot. She writes full-length novels and short fiction. She has also written poetry (first published in 1997) and esoteric books and articles. Nowadays, she chooses to concentrate on writing fiction.

Although quite active online, Dianna prefers the quiet company of nature and animals to the hustle and bustle of people. She loves anything paranormal (she doesn't really consider it "para"), organic food, walking barefoot, the smell of the woods after rain, and summer days.

However, she is also sustained by coffee, chocolate and the occasional vodka.

She currently lives in Surrey, England with her partner and their daughter, where she writes full-time.

I stumbled on this author and the Witching Pen by pure accident over the summer ~ so grateful for the stumble I must say.........

I LOVE this series ~ there is such a passion and creative edge behind all 3 stories within this Omnibus that they can strongly stand alone. But why would you want that when you can have them all in one beautiful book? :)

Elena & Karl and their relationship is so well crafted in The Witching Pen. Their history, friendship and love for one another sets this series off on a wild and paranormal ride!

Amy & Pueblo have a lot of unfinished and unshared "baggage" to tell and to share with one another. Their relationship is a surprise and builds in intensity in Sands of Time.

Mary & Gwain ~ my ABSOLUTE FAVS!!! The Demon Bride is nothing short of brilliant and as I read it I could see it in blockbuster movie form - the apocalypse is coming and these 3 couples are right in the midst of it!

These couples all find one another along life's way and their connections are celebrated and supported throughout all 3 novels. I felt as if I was reuniting with old friends in each sequel.

You will NOT be sorry for joining me on this reading journey - it is sexy (with an erotic edge) , creative, unpredictable, and crazy fun with the various paranormal entities (angels, demons, succubi, witches, I could go on but why spoil the surprise:) Trust me!

As if it's not bad enough learning to be a witch but learning that by being a very special witch you can never have a sexual relationship with someone without it costing your powers would really suck. That's how The Witching Pen Novellas start off. Each novella takes you on an adventurous journey with Elena, Karl, Amy, Pueblo, Mary and Gwain. I was so impressed with the creativity of these stories that it is one of my recommended reads to friends and followers. The world Dianna has created is like nothing I have read before which is refreshing. All the characters in the stories are intriguing and it makes you want to read more about all of them. I just love the camaraderie between the characters and Dianna adds so much mystery and excitement in her novellas, they just get you hooked. Dianna got me completely enthralled with her story of Mary and Gwain and it made me just want more and more. They are my two favorite characters in the novellas, maybe it's their intensity or just the way they are so driven to save the other so they can have a future together or the fact that despite time, they are each other's destiny. These novellas are filled with jaw dropping action and adventure, fist pumping scenes and tearful goodbyes...just have a box of tissues ready. These stories are definitely the best.

(I purchased all the books in this omnibus separately. The following is a general review of the entire series.)

I adore Dianna Hardy's writing. She has a beautiful way with words, and of describing her world and characters and their emotions. Her stories - including her new series "The Eye of the Storm Series" and her individual titles - are well planned, and constantly keep you hooked. The way the plots unfold are genius, especially in her series; there is a slow unveiling with every instalment that keeps you wanting more.

In the world of The Witching Pen Dianna Hardy has really moulded quite a wonderful and unique view on the theories and stories of God and the Devil; angels, demons, witches, fairies . . . she has gelled so many elements together and come out with a world that is believable; stories that are fascinating and gripping. As a reader I felt the situations these characters were in were very possible. And the relationships between characters . . . we have so many elements of love and all its types from childhood sweethearts; friends turn lovers, love at first sight, everlasting, soul mates etc. You feel for each of the characters because even though they have their happy moments they really have to work for them.

I have read quite a few books in my time, but nothing like these three stories. You don't feel like you have to make yourself believe that all the things that exist in this world - this fiction world - exist, it just feels natural; like there is truth to it. I suppose to some degree there is, because the elements in the books are taken from truth and the author has placed a view point on it all; made everything work for this world and all who exist in it.

Well written, good story line. Once you start reading you don't want to put it down. Would have given 5 Starts if it wouldn't had some parts that where a bit confusing. All in all I do recommend this book

All 3 books in 1 ~ can't go wrong.

Book 1 ~ The Witching Pen

Elena is just beginning to learn who she really is, and the story follows her discovery of magic, demons, friendship, love and what family really means.

For a novella (though longer than some books I've read classed as novels), this book has so much going on - but not in an overwhelming way. The development of the characters grows greatly as the story goes on, and the descriptions leave little to the imagination, ensuring the reader feels each part of the story.

An excellent paranormal romance novella, and a great start to the series. I can't wait to read The Sands of Time and see what's in store for Elena, Karl and their friends.

Book 2 ~ The Sands Of Time

The first book, The Witching Pen, was amazing but this book just stepped onto a whole other level. I was instantly hooked from the first page, and wasn't going anywhere until I finished it. Each reader is in for a roller coaster of a ride, and a few shocks along the way.

One of the best things about this series is how there are many main characters, who all have their part to play and the reader learns more about each one over time. There is so much going on but the reader never feels overwhelmed, just completely engrossed as all the pieces start to fit together.

This book got my pulse racing a few times, and those scenes were essential to the story, but written so well it didn't seem wrong or offensive.

I am now addicted to this series.

Book 3 ~ The Demon Bride

The third and final installment in the Witching Pen Novellas, an adult paranormal romance trilogy. The Last Dragon, a spin-off novel, is due out Autumn 2013.
