Editorial Reviews

From the Author

I wrote this book after hearing injured workers tell me over and over that there just wasn't anything available at a reasonable price which explained this confusing area of law. The only options were either those worthless pamphlets put out by insurance companies that didn't tell enough or law books that were too technical or cost too much! Nothing in between! No reasonably priced handbook that people could actually understand! In fact there was such a demand for this type of workers' comp. guide that we had a waiting list even before the book was finished!

This is the best and most easily readable book I've read on Workers' Compensaton and I will certainly make it suggested reading at my seminars!

I found this book title researching WC for a friend, and have to say, while it may be an excellent book, the author is mistaken in his assertion that no one but insurance companies or law firms puts out an "affordable, understandable" book. When I had the misfortune of being injured on the job, I sought out Nolo.com. Their book, "Taking Charge of Your Work Comp Claim" was invaluable and sure didn't cost [item price]!!!!!
