I went to college with Vaughan Penn...and we used to sit around and call out songs for her to sing and play on her guitar. I wondered what happened to her after graduation, and then saw she was performing in North Carolina while I was visiting a friend. I caught her show and she was so good - melodically pleasing, smart, sexy and literate lyrics, and an all around awesome person. Check out her three CDs if you like Sheryl, Aimee, Rosanne Cash, Stevie Nicks, or anything that is sensual and provocative sounding.
