This review is from: The World's Richest Neighborhood: How Pittsburgh's East Enders Forged American Industry (Perfect Paperback)
This book is an important slice of American and Pittsburgh history. Skrabec presents it fairly, which is rarely done. The industrialists he covers built America. He doesn't gloss over faults or exploitation. It is well worth reading.

This book illustrates an exciting era in American business as well as in the Pittsburgh region. Some of the great marketing minds such as HJ Heinz, Frick and Westinghouse truly forged new industries from which America continues to benefit. It is a must read for anyone interested in business!
