Editorial Reviews

Review

If you've ever wanted to send someone a "just because" letter this would be the perfect way to do it. It's such a great excuse to sit down, focus on something small and special and send it off to someone you love. --Grace, Design*Sponge

The World's Smallest Post Service kit, a collaboration between Lea and Chronicle Books, is artful, thoughtful and exceedingly clever. It feels like the ultimate reflection of Lea's childhood passion for creating whimsical things. It's sweet, small perfection. -Joslyn, Simple Lovely

5.0 out of 5 stars Cute, Cute, Cute! July 9, 2011
Format:Accessory
As a child I collected miniature things and I'm sure many people still do today. This is the cutest little set of postal supplies you will ever find. It is easy to write small notes because of the fine-tipped pen. There is even a magnifying glass if you need one. You can create letters with the small writing sheets and put them in the tiny envelopes. Then you can close the letter and apply one of the many seals and a fake postage stamp. You can't really mail these tiny envelopes by themselves you have to put them in a larger envelope! If you want to wrap up small packages there is also some wrapping paper and sheets of small newspaper plus twine. I've used some of the special delivery stickers on envelopes. You might not realize that there are four mini gift boxes. They are on the left holding other items but can be pulled out and used to send small treats like candy or anything tiny. I've really had fun making up letters and I think you will too.

5.0 out of 5 stars GOOD THINGS DO COME IN VERY SMALL PACKAGES July 8, 2011
Format:Accessory
Whoever said that hand written letters had become passe' hasn't seen THE WORLD'S SMALLEST POST SERVICE. Creative artist Lea Redmond came up with this ingenious idea, and it's a winner - really, everything you need to make the cutest-ever miniature letters and gift boxes are housed in a 6" by 10" box.

You'll find a fine-tipped writing pen, magnifying glass (about one inch in diameter), 40 wee stationery sheets and envelopes, 9 sheets of assorted stickers, 4 little gift boxes, newspaper packing paper (be sure to read the articles before you use it), Kraft wrapping paper, twine, and an Instruction Sheet.

Unbelievable? Yes, that's exactly what your friends will say when they receive one of your mini missives. They'll be delighted you thought of them in such a unique way, and undoubtedly want to have THE WORLD'S SMALLEST POST SERVICE to send notes to their friends and loved ones, too.

Enjoy!
