Well written and as a history geek very informative. The only thing I disliked was the graphic sexual content. I just finished re-reading a book by Francis Parkinson Keyes where there were suggestions that something sexual might happen and in one case character who engaged in sexual activity which resulted in a pregnancy. It did not however, tell us in lurid sexual terms how she got that way. I am old fashioned but no prude, I simply get tired of page after page of crude language to describe the act of sex between characters.

All three stories were good. Somewhat similar but different enough to make it interesting. The heroes and heroines in each of the stories were very well written. I found all three stories captivating and full of romance. I even shed tears in some spots from misunderstandings that occurred. I was a little confused on the orders of the stories within the book as they start with the youngest daughter, then the next older, and then the eldest is the last story. I am not sure why it wasn't the reverse with the eldest daughter's story first but it really didn't make that much difference. I definitely recommend these romances.
