I just have to give kudos to the authors for doing the seemingly impossible... a guidebook to healthy foods that taste great and can be found in most supermarkets. I'm usually overwhelmed with the task of trying to eat right since I love my comfort foods, but THE YUMMY HUNTER'S GUIDE got me out of my rut and now I'm actually excited about trying out new foods. Organized almost like a Zagat's travel guide this very fun to read but still practical guide is a bargain for all of those out there trying to eat fairly healthy without resorting to a Draconian wheat grass diet.

This is a great book. I don't know how many times I saw something new in the supermarket and I decided to try it and it was awful. I ended up throwing it all out. This book had great foods which was already tasted for me. It was a no brainer. Everything I tried from the book was great. No more wasting food. I just take along my guide with me and I have fun shopping. It has saved me a fortune and it also gave me great ideas of new foods to buy. The book is divided into food categories, so when I need something , I know exactly where to find it. I would highly recommend this book for anyone either on a diet or just trying to eat the right, healthy foods.
