I buy hundreds of puzzle books every year. The last time I got a puzzle book this good, it was the Nikoli Puzzle Cyclopedia. Take a look at the review at [...] for an indepth look at the book and some sample puzzles. [...].

Every page is beautiful, and every page is an excellent logic puzzle and logic maze. The variety of different maze types is vast. Highly recommended.

When I first heard of this book, I was not interested because of the title. I am not into Zen but I am most definitely into puzzles of every sort and this book supplies gorgeous mazes that are ingenious and that is what this book is all about. Throw away that that old picture in your mind of squiggly path mazes and having to work between the lines- this book takes mazes into a new and wonderful dimension. You really have to see this book to comprehend how engaging, ingenious and beautiful these mazes are.. This book contains enough mazes to keep a puzzler occupied for quite a while. And if you get stuck on a maze, the answer is given in the back of the book. One note however- according to the author, this is a maze book intended for adult puzzlers, not children.

I gave this book s five star rating but wish I could have given it a ten. Order this book now (Amazon has a great price) and pick up a few extra copies for Christmas gifts and stocking stuffers. I'm going to buy three extras as gifts. This is such an outstanding bookk. There are so many unimaginative puzzle books put out all the time and it is very rare to find a hidden gem like this book- don't let it pass you by!

I love mazes, but not the traditional linear jungle of pathways that only brute force can solve. I like mazes that are puzzles, where the solution to exiting the maze comes down to observation and craft, not hours of tedious trial and error. This is one of the best designed maze books EVER and really defines what a labyrinth should be - creative, diabolical, and most importantly - FUN!
